Join our team as a Monitoring Centre Operative and play a crucial role in safeguarding communities, properties and assets. As a Monitoring Centre Operative, you will be responsible for monitoring security systems, responding to alarms, and coordinating with emergency services to ensure a prompt and effective resolution to any incidents. 

Key duties include: 

  • Staffing the Monitoring Centre and operating all functions to agreed levels 
  • Responsible for the operation of the monitoring service provided by PID Systems 
  • Acting as a communications centre, taking calls from clients and alarm monitoring companies 
  • Passing on relevant messages or information to the required department 
  • Taking appropriate action to deal with incidents in accordance with the relevant procedures including accurately recording such information 
  • Responding to and co-ordinating escalation and response in the event of an alarm activation 
  • Maintaining the daily occurrence log with all relevant information and occurrences

What’s expected of you?

As a Production Operative, you will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process by ensuring the efficient and accurate production of goods. You will work as part of a small, dedicated and dynamic team in a fast-paced environment, contributing to DeterTech’s success by meeting production targets and maintaining production quality. The ideal candidate will have a strong customer focus and an environmentally friendly ethos to help keep the DeterTech brand at the forefront of our industry.

Key duties include:

  • Safely and efficiently operate forklifts to move, stack, and organise materials within the production facility
  • Load and unload goods from trucks, ensuring proper handling and storage
  • Load the production line using a line side KanBan system
  • Conduct routine maintenance checks on the forklift and machinery and report any issues to the Manager
  • Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures to maintain a secure working environment
  • General domestic duties
  • Assist with other warehouse tasks as needed, supporting a collaborative team effort.
  • Assist with production according to standard operating procedures
  • Monitor production processes to ensure quality and efficiency

Is this role for you?

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Valid and up-to-date FLT license C/B

What’s expected of you? 

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the debts of the business, ensuring timely payments are made, processing incoming funds, reconciling invoices, resolving account queries and managing debt recovery and overseeing all debts owed to the Company from existing creditors. This role requires building and maintaining strong relationships with clients to ensure the smooth running of accounts. 

Key duties include: 

  • Key point of contact for all customer related enquiries via email and calls.
  • Answering calls coming through to the ‘Accounts’ group telephone
  • Supporting the Credit Control team with adhoc customer requests which may involve sending out copy invoices, statements, chasing remittances, and chasing POs from customers. 
  • Chase upcoming and overdue debts. You will be responsible for the debt collection of a number of customer accounts. 
  • Liaising with the specific sales person allocated to the customer account you are responsible for to clear queries 
  • Ensuring actions are undertaken as necessary e.g. placing the customer on hold, forwarding the debt to our solicitors if not collectable internally
  • Supporting the team on adhoc projects e.g. clearing down bad debts against our bad debt provision

  • Excellent communication skills 
  • Minimum of 2 years credit control experience with an in depth of knowledge of Sales Ledger and Credit Control function gained through experience  
  • Good understanding of Microsoft Office

DeterTech are looking for an Field Engineer to install, maintain and remove battery-operated security solutions for our clients.. The role will be based in the following sectors: construction, energy, utilities, rail, retail, government and law enforcement and vacant properties. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the functionality, reliability, and satisfaction of our customers through effective maintenance, technical support, and problem-solving Your commitment to technical excellence and customer service will contribute to the success of our service operations and the overall customer experience.This position is a lone-working and highly rewarding role enabling you to give peace of mind to people and communities, every day.

Key duties include:

  • Installation and commissioning of security solutions
  • Communicate successfully with site managers and DeterTech ARC to ensure all information is passed on successfully
  • Maintaining all areas where current site security solutions are deployed by conducting battery maintenance, camera reconfiguration, cleaning and servicing
  • Ensure there is a low chance of false triggers during installation and maintenance
  • Be responsible for ensuring all equipment, parts and spares are loaded into your business vehicle ahead of all appointments
  • Ensure all equipment is deployed, positioned and secured on-site
  • Fit, display and remove company signage around the site of installation
  • Conduct thorough quality checks after repairs and maintenance to ensure equipment meets safety and performance standards.
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries and service requests regarding equipment issues
  • Successfully remove all off-hire equipment and pack it into the company vehicle safely
  • Train customers and end-users on proper operation, maintenance, and safety protocols of equipment.

Is this role for you?

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have 3+ years hands-on experience in a field engineer role or similar
  • Have experience in either telecoms, satellite, electronics, gas and electrics or an engineering background.
  • Possess a full UK driving license.
  • Have CSCS training and H&S training would be desirable skills.
  • Have knowledge of wiring/electronics/soldering and experience in alarm installations is desirable but not essential.
  • Be independent and comfortable decision-making on site

What’s expected of you?

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Full Stack Developer to join our expanding team of engineers and designers. The successful candidate will maintain both the front-end and back-end components of multiple systems and web applications, work collaboratively with their team, manager and stakeholders to ensure these meet the requirements and specifications of DeterTech’s customers. You may be asked to travel around the UK and occasionally to our other offices in Europe.

Key duties include:

  • Managing the complete software development process from conception to deployment.
  • Develop and implement software solutions using modern web technologies, including JavaScript, TypeScript, Cordova, Angular, AngularJS, Nova, Laravel, Symfony/Silex etc.
  • Extensive knowledge of Amazon Web Services such as Aurora, ELB, ECR, ECS, EC2, DynamoDB, Lambda, MySQL, MQTT, RDS, etc.
  • Designing and developing APIs, microservices and other back-end components.
