DeterTech inspires future innovators at St John’s Primary School’s World of Work Week

DeterTech inspire children from St Johns Primary School

We were proud to take part in World of Work Week at St John’s Primary School, introducing pupils to the world of DeterTech and showing how our technology helps keep people, property and places safe.

During the sessions, pupils discovered how innovation, teamwork and problem-solving shape the work we do every day. From crime intelligence to forensic marking and intelligent site security, they explored how modern technology plays a vital role in protecting communities.

Mark Fitzpatrick, Director of Group Operations at DeterTech, said:

“The kids were full of energy, curiosity and really clever questions! We loved seeing their faces light up as they explored our technology and learned about careers they may not have considered before. From future engineers to potential crime prevention specialists – who knows what seeds we planted today?”

The visit was a powerful reminder of the importance of engaging young minds early. By sparking curiosity and sharing how innovation in security helps build safer communities, we’re helping to inspire the next generation of engineers, creators and protectors.

Through initiatives like World of Work Week, DeterTech continues to champion education, collaboration and innovation – shaping a safer, smarter future for everyone.
