DeterTech Showcases SmartWater Tool & Van Packs at Jewson Wimborne Trade Day

DeterTech recently joined Jewson Wimborne for their Trade Day, strengthening our role as trusted site security partners with one of the UK’s leading builders’ merchants. 

At the event, we showcased our brand-new Tool & Van SmartWater Packs, giving visitors an exclusive opportunity to take one home free of charge. These innovative forensic marking kits are designed to deter theft and safeguard valuable tools and equipment, offering tradespeople greater peace of mind when it comes to protecting their livelihoods. 

We were also joined on the stand by Dorset Police, who shared their insights into the devastating impact that tool theft has on tradespeople, the value of forensic marking in recovering stolen tools, and how SmartWater helps bring offenders to justice. Their support reinforced the important role of technology and policing working hand in hand to reduce crime. 

The packs generated strong interest among attendees, who were keen to learn how SmartWater can help prevent theft and provide robust, court-recognised evidence should stolen property need to be traced and recovered.
